There is a world behind everything we observe; there is a reality to be discovered, a story we do not yet know but that deserves to be explored. There are truths that could change the meaning of a single day, or even of life itself. Through this short journey, we will work on relationships and explore what we usually fail to see. We will give life and voice to objects and animals, diving into the depth of situations and then resurfacing. We will play with moving back and forth between different levels of the scene.
The work will focus mainly on two objectives: emotions and relationships, between microworlds and macroworlds. Every reality exists in relation to another, in a spiral that envelops everything in a circular motion. The goal of this “zoom” is to be surprised—both as actors and as audience—and to rediscover that it is not necessary to begin a scene from a clear idea. We will aim to stage situations that are amusing and unusual. We will laugh, we will suffer, and we will come out of it changed—hopefully for the better, though that is not guaranteed.
