Discover Live Action Role Play: Improvisation Taken to the Next Level

Have you ever experienced LARP (Live Action Role Playing)? If you love theatrical improvisation, get ready to discover the most immersive form of gaming that exists!

What is Live Action Role Play?

Live action role-playing games (LARP) are interactive theatrical experiences where YOU become the protagonist of the story. You embody a character in real-time, without scripts, without breaks—just pure improvisation and dramatic play. Sessions can range from intense 2-hour experiences to epic multi-day adventures!

Why LARP is perfect for improvisers? These games offer continuous, uninterrupted character performance, where there is no script to memorize and everything is spontaneous. Authentic interaction with other players allows for total immersion in complex narrative worlds, bringing improvisation directly into the world of theatrical gaming.

LARP at Pandora Improv Festival - New for 2026

This year, we’re bringing innovation to the festival! Thanks to our exciting collaboration with the acclaimed Chaos League collective, Pandora will feature multiple LARP sessions where you can participate in various live action role-playing experiences. You’ll also have the opportunity to attend a LARP writing workshop where you’ll learn to create and design your own live action role-playing games. The format is completely flexible: you can choose to only play, only attend the workshop, or experience the complete package with both activities!

A Unique Experience for Improvisers and Game Designers

Whether you’re an experienced improviser curious about exploring new narrative forms, a passionate game designer, or simply someone who loves stepping into character, this is your chance to discover where theatrical improvisation meets live gaming.
